Celebrating Through Wrapping
A collaboration between Lucy Groom and I and womenswear student Ondrej Adamek. The presentation was a visual representation of our research into wrapping and celebration.







Publicity for the lecture ‘communicating sound’ by Larry Sider I did with a friend. Since the university have a problem with you sticking anything to the walls, we decided to hang pieces of string with tin cans on either end in 3 locations around the building. Details of the lecture are on tabs inside each can.

Circle Line, I started collecting printed paper that I found on the platforms of the circle line and made sure I had a piece with the station name somewhere on it. I then enlarged and manipulated each piece so that a certain level of destruction created strong graphic imagery. Printed on sugar paper, I compiled the Images in a simple book.

I treated this in the same way as the other images, I printed it small and manipulated and cropped it so that although you couldn’t read the full sentences, it still gave enough information for one to understand what it was all about.
